May 22 Voronezh State University was visited by the delegation of the organization in the direction of students to study in India under the guidance of a consultant Ajay Sharma (Ajay Sharma). During the conversation with the rector Dmitriem Endovitskim, head of International Cooperation Olegom Belenovym, director of the Institute of International Education Vladimirom Rodionovym and head of the Department of Pre-University and the student recruitment Aleksandrom Makushinym they discussed areas of cooperation.

The Indian trend poorly developed Russian universities. I hope that our meeting today will open a window of opportunity to interact with Indian universities.

Dmitry Alexandrovich presented to the guests of the university a number of videos that tell about VSU – its history, composition and activities, academic reputation in the world:

– More than 20 000 foreign graduates have been trained in the walls of VSU. Already functioning of the Association of the German and Hungarian graduates this year will set up the Association of British graduates.

In his response, Mr Sharma said that his mission – to promote higher education:

– We are interested in the courses and educational VSU program to offer their Indian students. Unfortunately, in India we learn little Russian students, and vice versa, in Russia little of our compatriots. I would like to fill this gap. The main scientific direction of India – Information Technology. We created a lot of startups in this area. At the moment, about 100 students from India studying in Russian universities in this area, we would like to send your students and your university.

After that, more about the international activities of the Voronezh State University, said the head of the International Cooperation Oleg Belenov:

– At this point about 150 VSU concluded cooperation agreements with foreign universities and educational centers. On the basis of our university are training centers of foreign companies such as Siemens, T-Systems, Atos, OTSL Inc., Microsoft and others.
